Getting the screed ready
Before any finish goes down we check moisture with a hygrometer, prepare the surface (liquid screeds need the laitance sanding off), prime it, and level it with a smoothing compound where the finish needs it. That preparation is what stops tiles cracking and vinyl showing every bump.
